Many IELTS tasks have small limits. The limit tells you how many answers or words you can use.

Sample task line

Choose two answers from the list, A-E.

Concept explanation

A task instruction tells you exactly what to do.

A limit tells you how many answers, words, or letters you need. For example, choose two means you must choose two answers.

Now answer the practice question.

  1. Read the sample task line again.
  2. Find the word after Choose.
  3. Type the number only in the Practice Responses area.
