Concept: This course supports research students in developing clear, evidence-based academic writing at university level. The focus is argument, revision, and portfolio assessment—not exam-style drills.

Mechanism: You will draft, receive feedback aligned to evaluation criteria (FOUR BASES), and revise. Each unit builds skills through reading, practice tasks, and reflection. The goal is transferable skill, not a single high-stakes performance.

Expectations: attend sessions, complete in-class tasks, and engage with the diagnostic and assignment sequence.

Worked example: A typical sequence: read about thesis clarity → complete an MCQ checkpoint → draft a short piece → receive feedback → revise using FOUR BASES.
