What to do

Write one private note in My Notes. You do not need to submit it.

Time

4 min

Instructions

  1. Read the weekly routine.
  2. Choose two study habits you can follow this week.
  3. Write your two habits as a private note in My Notes.
  4. Use the same habits when Week 2 begins.

Small study habits help you keep going. A clear routine helps you practise all four IELTS test parts.

Concept explanation

A study routine is a simple plan you repeat. It tells you what to do first and how to check your work.

At Foundation level, your routine should be small and clear.

Task

Choose two habits from this list and write them as a private weekly plan in My Notes:

  • I will work through the cards in order.
  • I will spend extra time on practice cards.
  • I will review one wrong answer before moving on.
  • I will write one small goal for next week.

Sentence frames:

  • This week, I will ...
  • When I make a mistake, I will ...

This is a private plan.

Reflection
  • Which one habit will help you most next week?

Self-check

  • You choose two small habits.
  • You write two clear private notes.
  • Your plan includes review, not only new tasks.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Trying to finish every card too quickly.
  • Only doing the test part you like most.
  • Ignoring wrong checkpoint answers.
How success is measured

You have two small habits, written as clear private notes, that you can repeat next week.
